Postgraduate Zooarchaeology Forum (PZAF) is a conference organised by and for postgraduate/graduate students and early-career professionals in the field of zooarchaeology. With the help of PZAF students explore different research traditions and approaches, and get an opportunity for academic networking among the wider community of upcoming zooarchaeologists. In October 2017 PZAF became an ICAZ (International Council of Archaeozoology) Affiliated Group. Founded in 2009 by Richard Madgwick and first held in Cardiff (UK) the PZAF has been growing year after year and has since been hosted in Paris (France), Sheffield (UK), London (UK), Tarragona (Spain), Torun (Poland), Palermo (Italy), and Yerevan (Armenia).

The 9th PZAF was supposed to be held in Petnica Science Center, Serbia, between 25th and 27th of June 2021, but due to the covid-19 situation it  will be held ONLINE
